WATER BAPTISM

Those who received his word were baptized
Acts 2:41

What is Baptism?

We believe Scripture teaches that water baptism is a decision made by a person at the age of understanding after they have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and should be done by full immersion.
It’s not just a symbolic gesture, but it’s following Jesus’ example and being obedient to His commandment. Water baptism is the outward expression of your inward decision and verbal confession that Jesus is God. It’s your public declaration that Jesus has become your Savior and Lord.
“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.”
Mark 1:9-10
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 28:19
“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32-33
