Be the first to welcome guests as soon as they arrive. Our team brings a personal touch to our worship experiences and events by greeting, hosting in the lobby and at coffee stations, as well as directing traffic, welcoming people in the parking lot, and ushering members and guests into the auditorium. They also provide a safe environment during weekend services and special events. They are ready to answer any questions people might have, help find the best seats available, and pray with those who just made the most important decision of their lives: accepting Christ.

The purpose of the this team is to facilitate the move of the Holy Spirit in individuals in corporate gatherings and in personal interactions. The purpose is to release God's love and power toward those who indicate a desire for prayer and to bless, strengthen, encourage, and comfort.

We believe that the church is enriched by diverse voices, perspectives, experiences and styles of communication. This is why we don’t have only one speaker, but many whom God has given a gift of teaching. Our messages are full of faith, hope, and love. We deliver and ignite highly thought-provoking conversations loaded with truth, wrapped in love, and delivered boldly to inspire people to discover their Maker and to step into all they are made for.
 

Every weekend, our church is led by talented and committed musicians who make up our worship team. We express our worship with passion, heart and soul, high-energy, and creativity. We include classic hymns, current praise and worship songs, and original songs written by AVL City Church. We are apt to build a community of musicians, artists, and songwriters alike to discover and pursue the heart of God. This team serves the vision, mission, and purpose of our church by creating an atmosphere that helps people experience God’s presence.

Our team helps create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. They oversee the operation of the cameras, lights, screens,lyrics, and sound to support the Gospel being presented on stage and online.

Our team is part of shaping the next generation by engaging kids with the Gospel to help them build their faith. We work directly with children through Bible stories, songs, and group activities to provide the best experience possible for our kids and to empower parents outside the classroom. We use skilled volunteers, technology, and fun activities to communicate the timeless knowledge of our loving Father.

 A group of individuals responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a successful event. They work together to ensure the event meets its goals and objectives, from conceptualization to post-event evaluation. We collaborate to define the event's objectives, and plan the logistics, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and security. By working together, the event team ensures that all elements of the event come together seamlessly, leading to a successful and memorable experience for attendees.
